Please note that while this is definitely a guide that can be used by anyone, including modding beginners, you may be spoiled on most aspects of the game if you've never played it before, but this guide assumes that you have. In my opinion, the greatest thing about SSE that makes it worth modding the game all over again for is its superior 64-bit stability as well as the introduction of a new mod file format to all-but-eliminate the relatively low cap on the number of mods the game can tolerate, but more on that later. Now that it's been several years since SSE has released (this guide was started and completed from January to May of 2021 and SSE was released in 2016), 99% of all the good mods and tools from Oldrim have been ported over with some of them remade and updated to work better than ever, and we can use some new fancy SSE-exclusive mods too! This means that my old Skyrim guide is officially discontinued, because we can now mod ourselves an even better game here. Welcome to my SSE modding guide - I hope you enjoy it! Full changelog available at the bottom of the guide.
